Building Boom/New Kids On the Block 2005
This painting is about how we look at the various 'good times' that brings on a building boom and growth in the housing market. Early Omaha had the northern end built in the 70's and 80's. The southern end has the new modern of the early 2000 and now 2010's. Thirty plus years on, the older houses of the northern end are either being moved off or undergoing a large renovation. 1200 x 1200mm.
